When we mentor people, they are likely to become like us, which is not bad if we are following Christ, but Jesus said: “…Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Mark 16:15) So, in true discipleship, we teach people to become like Jesus.
